With summer coming a nice pair of vegan athletic sandals becomes imperative. Alright, perhaps not imperative, but it's nice and depending on the kind of sports or outdoors activities you get into... well, they are pretty nice to have around. Whether you're running, hiking or are simply wanting a really nice sturdy pair of sandals to go on long walks in we have found something that should suit your needs!
So, here we go, lets get on this crazy ride and look at some vegan athletic sandals!
We'll start off the show with a pair from Vivobarefoot. They are really known to make great shoes. These are apparently no different in a lot of respects, and are a really good barefoot vegan running sandal. There is a problem costumers did report though, and you should be cautious of. They have said that though this might feel like and be a really great barefoot running shoe in how it feels, the quality and durability has been occasionally questionable.
Hilariously enough, even though these are kids shoes most of the reviews I've read have all been adults who've bought them for themselves! These chacos vegan sandals are ridiculously durable though, and apparently have really great arch support! So, if you're buying them for your kid who is really rough on shoes, these are a great purchase. If you happen to have small feet and a hard time finding sandals that have great arch support, fit well, are durable and cute these are a great find.
This is another wonderful vegan athletic sandal from Xero Shoes. For those of you out there who want a really durable barefoot vegan sandal, this is definitely something to look into. It's sturdy, and has a really nice look to it. Also, you don't have to deal with anything between your toes which is a bonus! One particular review noted that he could run for long distances without having to adjust the straps.
Much like the kids chaco sandals above, these are some ridiculously durable vegan sandals. Whether you're just wanting a nice sturdy pair to wander around and take your kids to their sports practice in, or you need something that's really going to be able to endure going out on a nice hike or bike ride, these chacos women's athletic sandals seem to be a good choice.
The only thing people have noted is that there is a bit of a "break in" period for these, so if you get them don't expect to just take them out of the box and hit the trails, you'll want to ease into it a bit more slowly.
The Oso Vegan Sandal
Once again we find another very durable, sturdy pair of barefoot vegan athletic sandals in The Oso. Plus, the name is really funny and I love it. The name aside though, with the adjustable straps, nice grip, and barefoot style these are really a good match for someone looking to go hiking or do a bit of running.
People really like these for hiking, say that they are a really pleasant mix between a river shoe and a regular sandal. These Teva sandals have good traction and are comfy. Your toes will stay protected and so will the back of your heel, which when you're out there on the trails can be a real plus. One con that people have noted though is that it can easily build up some mud and gunk, so you do have to rinse and wash them out occasionally.
Like the ladies above, we've got you guys covered. If you've decided what you really need is a quality pair of vegan men's running shoes just click right here to see them!
