Vegan Boots For Winter

With snow right around the corner (and over some of your heads already!) you're likely thinking that if you don't already have some vegan boots for winter, you NEED to get some. Something to keep your toes warm while you slog through the yuck AND making sure your ethics aren't being compromised. And let me tell you, coming from the freezing winters in Northern Michigan... I understand your need for both. Whether your'e a guy or a gal you can't really even go grocery shopping up there without some serious snow boots.

But that doesn't mean you have to dress like Nanook of the North (unless you want to). There are some very stylish vegan boots available this year. Let's take a peek at some, shall we? And don't worry fellas... we've got you covered too.

Women's Vegan Boots For Winter!

Fashionable yet functional! These vegan boots for winter will keep your toes toasty warm while also keeping your ethics in line! Whether walking around town or going out to your mailbox (which can be perilous with all that ice), these will keep you comfy while helping give you stable, sure footing. Oh, and did we mention how GOOD you'll look in them?

"Sorel Style" Women's Winter Boot... 100% VEGAN!

Talk about warm and cozy, these vegan boots are going to keep your toes safe and sound in the cold of deep winter. One costumer even reported in their review that they'd gone out walking in Chicago when there was a -11 windchill, it took at least an hour for her to start feeling any chill in her toes.  These vegan winter boots come in a lot of different colors so click thru to see them all.

Jambu Women's Artic-Vegan Snow Boot

This is a lovely pair of snow boots that will keep you warm in style. Whether you're walking around down town or end up stomping through the snow, these will do the trick.  They are true to the style of boot you see in the picture above and are lined all the way through with soft, cozy faux fur.  One amazon reviewer noted that they had kept her warm and dry even through the crazy weather in Chicago!

These Jambu boots are warm, well made and sturdy.  I personally think that they are quite cute as well!  People who've reviewed them on Amazon have said that they compare really well to Sorel's "Joan of Arctic" boots, which are not vegan and are nearly double the price of these!  I'm considering getting and trying these for myself when I return to the harsh winters of northern Michigan.

Men's Vegan Boots For Winter!

These men's boots are certain to keep you nice and cozy this winter... and ho-boy do they keep you warm! Ruggedly functional, these are meant to keep you warm through the whole winter no matter what you need to get out and do. Whether you have to be out shoveling snow or if you're into taking long walks in the snowy woods, these will keep you warm and dry.

Kamik Men's Fargo Boot

The consensus on these boots seem to be that they are quite warm and cozy, especially for the price! Something that people did note was that the bottoms are really just rubber, and while they weren't cold, they could feel some of the rocks as they walked.

These boots are comfortable and lightweight, unlike a lot of winter boots. It was noted that they don't have the best arch support though, so if you need decent support, these might not quite be the boots for you.

Sorel Men's 1964 Premium T CVS Boot

If you're looking for dependable, warm, waterproof snow boots for working outside... These are the ones for you. This model has been made for literally years and has remained popular for it's durability and practicality. Though, not the most stylish of boots they will keep your toes toasty and help keep you from slipping to much on the ice.

The Sorel Winter Carnival boots are unfortunately not vegan 🙁 I called and spoke with someone from Sorel and there are leather pieces at the top where the lacing is.

The Kamik Women’s Boston Snow Boot is also not at all vegan, at least not currently. It’s made with real suede. Partly because of the recommendation here, I went onto Amazon (where the boots were indeed listed as being “synthetic”) and ordered a pair. I was delighted with them when they arrived, but then I noticed, deep within the boot, a materials tag that had an animal-hide symbol. I contacted Orva, the store on Amazon where I bought them, and they confirmed that the suede was real. So I’m returning them.

Thank you so much for your comment. We’re really sorry about the mix up, we try to be very careful but obviously can’t order everything we feature, so this slipped through the cracks. We’ve updated the page! Thank you again for letting us know, it’s readers like you who help us catch things we might have missed and ultimately make vegan easier for everyone! Keep on being awesome and sorry again for the mix up!
