 Vegan Thanksgiving Pie Recipes!

With Thanksgiving coming up it's time to start thinking about what we're going to be cooking for our family!  And with great family cooking comes great ... cooking responsibility.  And lets face it, it isn't likely that all of your family is as Vegan as you are.

In fact, some of them might even think your kind of, y'know, weird.  But worry not, these 5 vegan Thanksgiving pie recipes will help you get through AND make them see how delicious animal free can be!

Mini Vegan Pumpkin Pie!

Why don't we start off with the ULTIMATE traditional pie?  With a tiny twist!  What's more festive than pumpkin these days, between all those pumpkin pie drinks and ice creams (though we seriously recommend you make this "nice cream" from the Minimalist Baker.

So here we have some Mini-Pumpkin Pies!  I mean, now you can have a whole pie to yourself.  Sounds kind of perfect to me.  The guys over at Love And Lemons has got this RIGHT.

Vegan Chocolate Silk Pie!

I went looking around for a nice simple chocolate pie recipe, no need for anything complicated here.  I came up with the Minimalist Baker's Chocolate Silk Pie.  And you know what?  It's only got SIX, yup, only SIX ingredients in it between the crust and filling.  It looks like heaven for chocolate lovers too.

Vegan Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

I don't know about you guys, but off and on throughout my life we've had some form of Rhubarb during the holidays.  We'd make something similar to apple sauce (only with Rhubarb), and boy was that always good.  And just recently my grandmother made her homemade Rhubarb pie.  It was to die for.

So, I'd put this at the top of my "YOU MUST TRY THIS" list of holiday desserts.  It's seriously good.  So, I found this awesome Strawberry and Rhubarb recipe over at Vegan Baking!

Vegan Banoffee Pie!

Oh She Glows has made a beautiful Banoffee pie, and veganized the English dessert made from toffee, bananas, and cream!  It looks heavenly and I certainly want to try this recipe sometime soon.  She even has a really nice crust recipe going along with this as well, which is gluten free and soy free!

Maple Pecan Pie

Now last but certainly not least is a delicious Maple Pecan Pie from The Post Punk Kitchen!  This sounds and looks awesome, and is certainly another great tradition around these parts.  This is my grandfathers personal favorite.  That nutty toffee-like flavor is almost to good to resist this time of year!
